FAQs

  • Do I need Pilates experience to attend class?

No prior Pilates experience is required. New clients are asked to begin with an introductory-level class designed to familiarize you with the equipment, movement principles, and studio environment. This allows you to learn how the Reformer and other apparatus work, build confidence, and move safely before progressing into regular classes.

  • What should I wear to class?

Wear comfortable, fitted clothing that allows you to move freely. Grip socks are recommended for safety and hygiene and are available for purchase at the studio. To help protect the equipment, please avoid wearing items that could cause damage, such as sharp jewelry, watches, or hair accessories with metal or hard edges.

  • What equipment do you use?

Our studio is equipped with state-of-the-art Merrithew™ Pilates equipment, including Reformers, Towers, Chairs, and barrels. Classes may also incorporate props such as balls, bands, and suspension systems.

  • Is Pilates suitable if you have injuries or limitations?

Pilates is highly adaptable, but we recommend private sessions if you are managing an injury, chronic pain, or are returning to movement after time away. Please inform your instructor of any concerns before class.

  • How do I know which class is right for me?

If you’re unsure where to start, we recommend reaching out. We’re happy to help guide you toward the class or session type that best supports you.

  • Can I participate if I am pregnant?

Clients who are pre or postnatal require a doctors note to participate in any of the pilates offerings at the studio.
