
Meet Kelley
Founder, Studio Director, and Lead Educator at Pilates on the Prairie.
Kelley participated in her first pilates class in 2004. She was navigating a shoulder and back injury and was looking for an alternative form of movement to heal her body. Kelley fell in love with the STOTT PILATES® method of training and was inspired to help others. In 2006, Kelley began her instructor journey and completed her full certification in Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair & Barrels. With a strong desire to motivate and educate others, Kelley was nominated to become a STOTT PILATES® Instructor Trainer (IT) for Mat and Reformer. Since 2009, she has continued to expand her IT qualifications and has added Cadillac, Chair & Barrels (CCB), ZEN•GA®, Injuries & Special Populations (ISP) and Anatomy to her IT portfolio. She is also qualified in Total Barre®and Merrithew™ Fascial Movement. Kelley's commitment to continuing education through the various Merrithew programs has qualified her to be considered a specialist in the following movement areas: Active For Life, Athletic Conditioning, Dance, Golf Conditioning, Rehabilitation and Group Matwork & Reformer.
Kelley has a background in dance, sport and fitness and is a self described lifelong learner. In 2014 she returned to university part-time to complete a degree in Kinesiology. In 2025 Kelley convocated from the University of Regina, with a major in Human Kinetics. She is also a certified ACE Personal Trainer, CSEP-CEP™, Canadian Red Cross CPR/First Aid/AED instructor, graduate of the Saskatchewan Police College and has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Saskatchewan. Kelley has recently completed additional certifications through THRIVE and Zebrafish Neuro.
In 2024, Kelley completed a 25-year policing career. She is excited to embark on this new adventure and welcome you to her new space in Regina!
Our Team
Pilates on the Prairie is a Merrithew® Host Training Center. At times, instructor trainees may observe classes, and some instructors may teach under mentorship while completing certification or advanced training requirements.
All instructors are trained in the STOTT PILATES® method, with ongoing education as part of our teaching standards. Instruction remains consistent, supervised, and aligned with studio protocols to ensure a safe and professional class experience.
