The Classes

Group Reformer

Small-group reformer classes are designed to build strength, control, and coordination using the resistance and support of the reformer. Classes are structured, progressive, and level-based (beginner, intermediate, advanced) to ensure appropriate challenge and safe progression for each participant.

All classes are instructor-led and require advance booking. Reformer classes have a maximum of 6 participants.  Level descriptions are provided in the schedule.

Group Mat

Group mat classes focus on full-body strength, core stability, and mobility using body weight and small props. Classes are organized by level and emphasize clear instruction, controlled movement, and efficient sequencing to support strength and endurance without the use of large equipment.

All classes are instructor-led and require advance booking. Mat classes have a maximum of 10 participants. Level descriptions are provided in the schedule.

Chair + Tower

Chair + Tower Pilates classes combine the Stability Chair and the Cadillac Tower to build strength, control, and coordination through structured, equipment-based programming. The small platform of the Stability Chair emphasizes balance and control while the Tower provides support for enhanced spinal mobility.  The additional spring resistance of the tower arm and leg springs is used to build strength through the core and periphery.  All classes are instructor-led and require advance booking. Chair + Tower classes are small-group with a maximum of 6 participants.

Cardio Tramp or Jump Board

Cardio-Tramp / Jumpboard is a high-energy Pilates class that blends Reformer-based strength training with athletic cardio intervals. Using either a firm Jumpboard or a softer Cardio-Tramp Rebounder, the class alternates controlled jumping sequences with upper- and lower-body work to elevate heart rate while maintaining core stability. This low-impact format improves cardiovascular fitness, coordination, joint strength, and endurance, with intensity and complexity adjusted to suit a wide range of experience levels. All classes are instructor-led and require advance booking.

ZEN•GA® Pilates class offered at Pilates on the Prairie

Zen·ga® classes combine both mat and equipment exercises with a focus on expanding breath, exploring fascial lines and playful whole body movement.

Sessions are designed to promote mindfulness through movement. Exercise selection and progressions support safe advancement across experience levels. All classes are instructor-led and require advance booking.

Private, Semi-Private, Group Private

Private, group private, and semi-private sessions are designed for individuals and small groups, with programming tailored to shared objectives and individual movement needs. Sessions emphasize precise instruction, clear progressions, and adaptable pacing—making them appropriate for those new to Pilates, returning after injury, or working toward specific strength, mobility, or performance goals. Each session is structured to ensure consistency, accountability, and measurable progress across all participants.

Forever Fit

Forever Fit is a low-impact Pilates class grounded in the Merrithew Active for Life approach and the principles of STOTT PILATES. Designed for adults who are seeking a joint-friendly, strength-focused practice, the class prioritizes functional movement, balance, core stability, and bone health. Using a variety of pilates equipment, sessions are structured to support safe progression, improve mobility and coordination, and maintain the strength needed for everyday activities—without unnecessary impact or strain.

Virtual Classes

Live, instructor-led Pilates classes delivered online. Virtual classes follow the same structured, level-based approach as in-studio sessions and focus on strength, control, and efficient movement. Clear verbal cuing and demonstrations ensure participants can move safely and effectively from home. Sessions are recorded and access granted for 60 days after class. Participants who register for virtual reformer classes must have access to a reformer to participate.
